Craft Night

My Friends Kassie, Kali and I have started a craft night.

Kassie's husband Matt, and my hub have night class tonight :(.

So we decided to make a craft night... We have a budget though.. last week we went over it.. so I think it's just dinner tonight :) Kassie is making us curry!

First Friday

So I love the feeling you have on Friday after a week of school! I love it! This week has been good.

I love it. I also love my husband.

I have learned a few things about myself lately. I depend on others opinions of me WAY too much. And you know what, I'm done with that! Jerrod always tells I let people get to me and get my feelings hurt way too much, from what people say, from being left out, things like this. I think it's just becuase I'm overly sensitive, but it's really not good. I'm going to have thicker skin.

Not everyone is going to love you. I should only strive for the approval of one person, Jesus Christ. I haven't been doing a good job of that lately, bc I've been to absorbed in pleasing others. SO from here on out, my motto is.. Who Cares!! :) In a good way though. haha!

I love that about my husband. He is who he is. Take it or leave it, I want to be more like that. I want to stive to only please my Lord!

I found this picture today and it made me laugh. Our youth group used to go to Matmoras Mexico every summer. We went to Sea World on the way back one time. There are a bunch of people I love this in this picture, but the one in the yellow shirt right next to me, tops them all. At the time, he was my best friend (who was fun to flirt with) now he's my husband.

..Back 2 School!

This morning School started. I had my first class at 9:00! I personally think the first day of school is exciting! :O Of course I complain about it (silly me). Next year hopefully my first day of school will be in my own classroom! I'm getting excited for that!!!

On Saturday we went to my sister-in-law Shaina's wedding. She looked beautiful as always. It was a cute wedding! Jerrod finally had a Saturday off (bc he requested it off) and it was so wonderful to spend the day with him! We woke up and went on a walk with Bingley and then to our favorite, Cracker Barrel. I love to go there, mostly becuase I love sweet elderly people. :) Then we went home and Jerrod went and set up the powerpoint for the wedding, while I got ready. Here are a few pics from my phone.

We had a good weekend! Sunday morning, we didn't go to church :(. But we helped clean up the recpetion site, we figured Jesus would rather us help out and serve Jerrod's parents :). But we were very sad to miss it bc, our friends Jason and Kali were helping lead worship :(. I LOVE it when they do that. Yesterday was odd jobs around the house, we started working on putting up trim, I will have pics soon! Have a fabulous day! I've got two more classes to go!!

Sweet Nothings...

So I changed the name of my blog to Sweet Nothings! Jerrod and I went on a picnic.. last summer before we were engaged and I told him all I wanted to do was lay on the quilt and whisper sweet nothings. He had no idea what that meant :), but ever since then it's kinda been our thing! And our life is made up of sweet nothings, that matter alot to us, but maybe not to everyone else.

I am going to be better about blogging here. I love to read blogs, so I think if I kept up with it, I would love to write in mine!

I need to introduce you to Bingley. He is our 11 week old(today!!) chcolate lab. He is a handful!!!!! But I really love him. He is named Bingley after one of my obessions: Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Bringley is Mr. Darcy's good friend, the one that Jane falls in love with, for those of you who may not be familiar! And if you aren't familiar you really should watch it. I could watch it every day.

He sure has gotten bigger.. next time I will post some pictures of the big boy.
Tonight I am going to my mom and dad's for dinner. It will just be my sister, Abigail ( my niece) Bingley, her dog Zeke, and my parents. I am pretty excited. Both of our boys are busy, I am excited to spend some quality time with my family. My mom made salmon and potatoes.. and I made a yummy apple crisp desert! With caramel ice cream! YUM!

Married Life.

I love being married. I have been married for one month and 4 days, and it is wonderful. Jerrod is a sweet and wonderful husband, always putting me first.
Some of my favorite things abour marraige are;
1. Jerrod is hilarious in the mornings. He wakes up really hyper, and it always makes me laugh, so we wake up laughing.
2. I love to cook new meals and try new things! And even if they are bad, Jerrod says they are good.
3. I love to have our friends over to our home. On Tuesday we had the Johnsons and Browns over, and it was so much fun. I love to spend time with good friends.
3. I love just chilling at home, waiting on Jerrod to get home it's all great.
4. We are getting a puppy soon! His name will be Bingley, named lovingly after Mr. Bingley from Pride and Prejudice. Jerrod doesn't like me tell people that because I think it makes him feel like Bingley is not manly. Haha, but Jerrod will train him to be a duck hunting dog, so I'm sure he will be Bing with dad and Bingley with Momma :).

This weekend we are going to have a work day. We still have quite a bit we need to do on the house. We need to finish the trim, and I desperately need to clean and organize our guest room. RIght now it is just a junk room, but I am going to have a garage sale with my new sister in law in a couple of weeks, so I need to get that junk out!

We are getting settled though, and I love it. We can't wait to bring Bingley home in a few weeks.

Married life is great.

We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon.. in Cozumel. And if it weren't for how much I love my friends and family and yellow house.. we may just move there :).
I am so blessed with a Godly patient caring husband. :D

I will update more later... just wanted to say.. 11 days into marraige.. and I love it!

I will move in my new yellow home.

I will cook in my kitchen, not my moms.

I will only drive two streets to work.

I will wait at home every night for Johnny Boy.

I will have a husband.

I will marry my best friend!!!!!!

I am really quite excited for that. It's pretty lucky that I love my best friend. So excited for that day.
